School Meals

We offer a range of options for school meals at Burbage Primary School. Hot, nutritionally balanced meals are available every day and the menu is regularly changed to ensure children have a wide variety of choices. 

You are able to send a packed lunch with your child if they would prefer this. If you would like to change from a school meal to a packed lunch or vice versa please contact the school office and allow at least a week's notice for the kitchen to make the necessary adjustments.

All children in EYFS and Infants (Years 1 and 2) are entitled to a Free School Meal automatically. older children may also be entitled to a Free School Meal dependent on the circumstances.

If your child has a school dinner every day and you wish to pay for your child's dinners in a half-termly block, the totals per half-term this academic year are as follows (each meal is priced at £3.25):

Term 1 (Sept-Oct 25): £113.75

Term 2 (Nov-Dec 25): £113.75

Term 3 (Jan-Feb 26): £91.00

Term 4 (Feb-Mar 26): £81.25

Term 5 (Apr-May 26): £94.25

Term 6 (June-Jul 26): £123.50
